Today It was surprising that the class was choosing the topic of the blog! I've missing that.
And the topic is... "What is your favourite book?"
So... My favourite book probably is the first book of The Chronicles of Narnia saga, The Magician's Nephew. (And I know that is a movie that everyone knows, but I'm talking about the books, so meanwhile the movie is about the third book this first book has been forgotten for everyone and it is about the creation of Narnia, however It is the sixth one in order of publication but the first one chronologically).
This book is about of since it was created Narnia; How the children (Diggory and Polly) came there in the first instance across the differents lakes on a forest, how Aslan create the world and why.
The style or genre of the book is fantasy, more like a fantasy novel, and It was written on 1951 and published in 1955.
And how I did get to know about this...
I was probably in my last year of basic school or the first year of my middle school instead, anyway it was when I become part of the "bibliometro".
I was not interested in to read fantasy literature, in fact I remember that previous to that book I was reading some kind of report about Hiroshima bombs (That probably could never forget) and because of that, I "make an interest" into fantasy worlds, my faith into the humanity was completely destroyed by the report.
And I saw the collection in the glass cabinet of "bibliometro", a edition with all the seven books in just one! And with a beautiful cover.
Reading the book, I was enchanted.
And that was the history.

Gosh! Is so old! My mom read all the books and she loved them, I said that I would read them but I never did... Maybe one day...
ResponderBorrarHello ! I hard the books are better than the movie, I think it about almost all the books and movies. I don´t like so much the fantastic world... but this year I saw Game of Thrones and I leved it. Maybe I give a chance to this genre again. Bye !
